Overview

Landaas & Company Investments is an independent money management firm focused on the needs and objectives of individual investors. With a focus on investor education and client communications the firm publishes a wealth of content including the Money Talk podcast, regular articles and a monthly newsletter. The challenge was to create both a new modern brand identity and a new WordPress site to serve both current audiences and attract a new generation of customers.

    Fresh new logo design and visual brand guide

    We worked with stakeholders to get at the heart of who Landaas & Company is. The result was a new brand guide featuring a bold color pallet and suite of updated logos. Branding can be a journey, so we made sure our process allowed collaboration and input from founders, current leadership, and other stakeholders while still reflecting the history and legacy of the firm.

    WordPress site with modular design system

    An easy, intuitive publishing workflow was crucial, and we made sure the CMS was flexible enough to grow and change with future needs. Lightburn built the site using our Blockprint base theme which leverages the native Gutenberg block editor within WordPress for maximum flexibility, all while ensuring cohesion with the new brand.

    Content strategy for Money Talks

    Podcasts, articles and videos produced under the Money Talk section of the site was critical to the firm’s communications strategy. A new site gave us the opportunity to evaluate how much historical content was worth retaining, reimagine the layout and design, and streamline publishing workflows for admins.

    Podcast syndication integrated with WordPress

    A new site meant a new workflow for publishing a weekly podcast that is a cornerstone of the firm’s educational content. Leveraging the Blubrry WordPress plugin allows the client to publish and manage the podcast entirely from WordPress. The podcast is then available on the website directly as well as distributed to Amazon podcasts, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts
