The Challenge

Help an existing B2B manufacturer finally reach a B2C audience.

AMD Converting & Label came to us seeking a new direct-to-consumer brand to sell a variety of protective masking tapes and films. The company needed an ecommerce platform and a digital marketing strategy that would attract new visitors and provide a foundation for long-term organic search success.

The Solution

We helped AMD break into a new sales sector and reach a new set of online consumers with a brand new brand—Teknitape—which included a digital brand strategy and a UX-first website that features a stunning responsive design, custom photography, and a unique product-filtering system.

The new Shopify site has a variety of custom filters that make it easy for users to find the exact product they're looking for, and the CMS makes it simple for AMD stakeholders to edit support content, manage product data, and fulfill orders.

Alongside the new ecommerce platform, we crafted a digital marketing strategy designed to increase online exposure and drive targeted traffic to the site. The strategy included keyword research, search engine optimization, and pay-per-click management with campaigns on Google AdWords, Microsoft AdCenter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

The Outcome

Teknitape is quickly becoming a leader in the Kapton tape market. With a focus on getting the right content in front of the right audience, we created a beautiful, intuitive digital experience that has attracted new visitors and increased orders for custom products.
