Let’s Talk

"We have five websites. None of them work together."

Growth through acquisition, division expansion, or geographic reach is a good problem to have — until you look at the digital infrastructure holding it together. When every brand has its own site and its own way of doing things, the operational drag quietly compounds.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • Multiple sites built at different times on different platforms, maintained by different people

  • No consistent buyer experience across brands or regions — even when the offering is the same

  • Every content update requires coordinating across teams, and nothing moves quickly

Let's Talk

Digital fragmentation isn't a brand problem. It's an organizational one — and it compounds.

The instinct is to treat each site as a separate project. For a while, that works. But as the organization grows, so does the cost — duplicated effort, inconsistent buyer experiences, no unified view of performance, and governance that breaks down the moment headcount or priorities shift.

The companies that get this right stop thinking about websites as individual creative projects and start thinking about shared digital infrastructure. The architecture decision you make now determines how much operational drag you carry for the next five years.

Running five disconnected websites costs you more than the upkeep. It costs you the coherent story that turns a complex organization into a brand buyers trust.

How we approach this.

The first move is an honest look at what's actually going on across your properties. A redesign proposal only makes sense once we understand that.

Start with a full ecosystem audit

We map what exists — platforms, governance structures, content ownership, performance by property. The architecture recommendation follows the diagnosis.

Designed for governance, not just aesthetics

A unified design system only works if the people responsible for each property can maintain it. We build with operational reality in mind.

Platforms that scale across your brands

That might be a single multi-site CMS instance, or a federated architecture with shared components. We match the approach to your actual complexity.

Each brand keeps its distinct identity

Unifying infrastructure doesn't mean homogenizing identity. We design systems that give each brand its own voice while maintaining shared standards and operational efficiency.

Reporting that spans every property

You can't manage what you can't measure. We build unified analytics that show performance across all properties — not just site by site.

It’s important to find partners that can handle your needs in the short term, but also take you into the future. Lightburn continues to hit the mark in both areas.

A situation like yours.

Douglas Dynamics came to us in 2021 with five brands on five separate WordPress sites — WESTERN, FISHER, SNOWEX, HENDERSON, and TURFEX — each maintained on its own, with plugin conflicts, slow pages, and analytics nobody trusted. Buyers got five disconnected experiences from one company.

We rebuilt the primary brand sites on a single WordPress Multisite codebase that keeps each brand's identity intact, unified the dealer locator with Salesforce as the source of truth, and connected quote requests and product registrations to the systems the business already runs on. Five brands now operate as one digital ecosystem, with 99% uptime and page speeds twice what they were.
